Our headteacherJenny Illsley, is a highly experienced leader with an extensive background in SEN (special educational needs) and mainstream provisions. Throughout Jenny's career, she’s developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by young people with both trauma and diverse learning needs and is committed to ensuring every student receives the support they need to thrive.

Jenny is joined by an excellent team with a range of experience, skills, and talents who support and build on the foundations of the school. The team has expertise in SEND/SEMH and includes special education teachers, therapeutic support staff, and subject-specific tutors and teachers. Our staff are highly experienced in delivering online education and understand how to use the digital tools available to them to effectively support engagement.

Our team also includes professionals with psychology, mental health support, and social work backgrounds, providing a holistic approach to student development. This mix of experience enables us to offer a well-rounded and personalised education that is truly unique.
